About Yuta Uchida

Yuta Uchida is a figurative and portrait painter, born and raised in Hiroshima, Japan. His short art career started when he moved to Superior, Wisconsin in 2012 to attend University of Wisconsin-Superior. His inspiration for painting comes from people that he has met in his life. As his paintings shows, he captures realism and details of subjects while he maintains looseness and dynamism. What he tries to express through his painting is the aestheticity of human form and the individual psychology that is captivated within a person or that he projects on the person.  His main medium is oil. Currently, he often participates in local art shows and keeps inspired by those people and communities in Duluth, Minnesota, USA.
